Sometimes you have to Dive Deep into the unknown in order to find the Real You

Ahh September the joys of fall, except here in Florida where it’s just as hot on the sun. However, it is the month of PCOS Awareness. I am all about supporting this cause because I have and I am Insulin resistant and struggle with my weight. I have been seeing a lot more young girls and women getting PCOS. PCOS has been defined as A hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges. But there are all different forms of PCOS. There Adrenal fatigue, being insulin resistant, and inflammation. PCOS can affect 1 and 10 women. We don’t know if PCOS is genetic or not but there is a lot to look at when PCOS could be a diagnosis. I did not find out that I was diagnosed until I was in my late 20’s. I went through 6 miscarriages before I had my daughter and she is now 6. If you are unsure that you may have PCOS and may have been misdiagnosed check in with a fertility doctor. It wasn’t until I saw a second fertility specialist that diagnosed me. Now I am not a doctor nor will I ever be don’t just go by symptoms you see on the internet please, please go see a licensed professional that can properly diagnose. Wear your TEAL this month to help support those who have PCOS and other Ovarian cancers, I love seeing when we can all come together and support one another.
