I’ve been on a self-discovery of myself for the past 2.5 years coming up on 3yrs. I have been learning a lot about myself and have been working on. Since the last few relationships have failed. I have definitely found that self-care has helped me tremendously. I take an hour and a half before bed to take some time for me. I’ll usually do a skin care treatment to help relax, read, or even write. I have started a new weight loss journey back in February with Zepbound which has resulted in 18 pounds lost, and I’m still going. But here is a few things I do that could possibly help others to enjoy some of their own “Me-Time” (There are affiliate links to some of my favorite items that have helped):
Create a daily ritual that supports inner peace. – I have a planner that helps with this. This here on Amazon is a good one. CAGIE Lined Journal
Wake up in the morning and compliment yourself in the mirror.
Take sometime at night with your favorite eye masks or even a face mask. (These eye masks are a wonderful hydrator and the facemask is my current facemask I use to clear my skin up).
Read a good book. (This is what I am reading now “The Mermaid Handbook: An Alluring Treasury of Literature, Lore, Art, Recipes, and Projects (The Enchanted Library)“) I love my mermaids
Enjoy a movie by yourself.
Overall do what makes you feel good and always be yourself.
