What exactly is a “Situationship?” It is when an individual wants everything of a relationship but without the commitment aspect of it. With my history of relationships, I am having a hard time committing myself to anyone. I mean, I have been married for 7 years, together with him for 11 years. Then got divorced from him. Moved to Florida had a kid in 2017. Started dating again in 2020/2021ish when I met a great guy only was with him for 7 months and split because he couldn’t handle a relationship that consisted of communication. (And he also cheated) Since then I have been single. I have been dating here and there but not committing myself to one person because of the last guy I was with. because my daughter got attached and with him leaving, she would constantly ask where he was at. I don’t want to be with someone that can just up and leave at any given moment. I have had my heart broken way too many times as the last one tells me, “that he’s different than most,” but then goes and proves to me that he is the same type of guy that I have previously dated. I am terrified of relationships now because of my daughter. It is just me, but you are entering my life with my daughter we come as a package deal. I can say I am afraid of being alone but at the same time I don’t have to worry about the hurt that may along with the relationship. I have really been enjoying my life right now without being tied down to anyone. I have been really contemplating a lot. But in the long run it is not just my happiness that matters it’s also my daughter’s.
