I believe a lot of people don’t understand what real romance is. True romance is in the gestures. Anyone can buy flowers, jewelry and candy. All these things are just materialistic and that there is just no love in that. It is going out of your way to make them happy. Random texts in the middle of the night just to say “I love you”. It’s slow dancing in the kitchen while the other is making dinner or breakfast. Romance isn’t about buying, it’s about giving and noticing the little things. Find the person that can spoil you with understanding, honesty, listening, affection and communication. The #1 rule in any relationship is that no matter how mad you may be at your partner, you do not go an seek someone else’s attention. You will sit your butt right there and make it right. Why you may ask?? Because that is your person. If you can easily go off and find someone else, you do not love the person you are with.
